But to be more specific: This is the story of a man, recently promoted to junior sales representative, enjoying the comforts and leisure of lower-mid-level office work. However, things suddenly take a turn for the worse, and the Clam Man is cast into an adventure full of danger, suspicion, and mystery. Join him, as he unravels the conspiracy behind the tragic event that befalls him, and fight to restore CLAMMY JUSTICE to the world of Snacky Bay.

Clam Man is a point'n'click adventure game, with an emphasis on story rather than puzzles! We wanted to create a game focused on the parts we loved about old school adventure games - the story and the jokes. It's a simple, entertaining game where you explore the world and interact with it's inhabitants. Oh, and we did throw a few puzzles in here and there, too.

  I am a very picky person when i play video games. There are only a few games i have played through. This is one of them.
  Great artstyle, funny characters (that don't feel like they are there just for the sake of being there), a memorable story and a soundtrack that keeps me from killing myself.
  I recommend this game to everyone who has a steam account, free time and a few bucks to spend. Really enjoyed playing this game! The humour was on point and the story was great. The puzzles in between were enjoyable aswell and made you feel satisfied once you figured them out. I highly recommend you give this game a try!. Yeah, so... I found some bugs here and there, and have some sound balancing issues, but overall, it's a remarkable little game. :)
  The humour is overwhelmingly self-conscious and brutally on the spot. Yeah, and totally absurds, silly, dope, rad, super-cool, 4th wall breaking and a little fishy too...
  The story is just... sick. In a very baffling way. It's the "weird s@it" feeling I love so much in theese super-rare type of games, like Clam man, Four Last Things or Paradigm.

  . Adorably funny game with great writing and music, as well as gameplay just engaging enough to not be frustrating. Excellent purchase for a quick laugh and a good time.. An awesome little indie game with interesting and hilarious dialogue, and it's supercheap and priceworthy.. Clam Man manages to pack in a few satisfying puzzles, a handful of laugh out loud moments, and a lot of charm in it's short (~2.5h) runtime.. Short and sweet. Hit me with some real gutbusting laughs.. There was fun banter and silly item descriptions. I wish it had more puzzles, but the one it had was fun to work out.. Short and simple, but sweet.
  
  Clam Man has a lot of charm and I enjoyed my playthrough quite a bit. I laughed several times through the adventure, and as someone with the personality of a robot, that's kind of hard to achieve. Since the game was obviously made from a small team, they needed to put their effort where it mattered, which in this case is the writing, and I think they made the right call. Since 90% of this game is basically setup of the scene followed by a string of jokes, it's important that at least some of them land, and I'd say that most do (it's really hard to critique comedy, so maybe I'm super wrong). in any case, none of the jokes outstay their welcome. There might have been a bit too many references for me, since those don't tend to age that well, but at least they were references to things I enjoy.
  
  I'm not sure if this is just me missing the point entirely, or if there's merit to my criticism, but I kind of wish there would have been more to the actual writing of the plot and characters. I suspect that when you write something that has to be simplified in order to make the jokes more pronounced, character depth might need to suffer for it, but I always hope that isn't the case. That said, Clam Man and His Amazing Friends are likable, and he at least has a clear goal, and sometimes that's all you need to set the stage.
  
  There's not a lot of puzzles, and the ones that are there don't really require any logic that makes you feel clever or inventive. It almost feels like they exist only because that's the genre. It is nice, however, that they occasionally use the genre to play with your expectations.
  
  In the end I had a lot of fun. While the characters weren't exactly deep, all of them were instantly charming and consistently made me smile. It's also nice to play a nice little indie game made by actual human beings who want you to have a good time. I recommend it! If you miss the dense, sometimes wacky humor of Monkey Island or Sam & Max, or don't even know what that's like, you should give this a try!
